Day 1 – Bucharest, capital of Romania
Arrival at Otopeni International airport; meet and greet – transfer to hotel for accomodation; walking guided discover tour and dinner (if flight schedule permits).

Day 2 – Bucharest – Focsani – Roman – Tg.Frumos – Iasi (440 km)
After breakfast, downtown panoramic visit*, History of Jewish Community Museum , Choral Temple, Holocaust Memorial, Jewish Theatre, Romanian Atheneum. Departure to Iasi; first stop in Roman to visit the Taylor’s Synagogue and in Tg.Frumos to visit the Jewish Cemetery and the Mass Grave (time for lunch); arrival in Iasi, where an important Jewish community lived; visit the Synagogue, built in 1671 and the Jewish Cemetery with 140.000 tombs; dinner and accommodation.

Day 3 – Iasi – Botosani – Suceava – G.Humorului (240 km)
Breakfast, followed by panoramic visit of the historical center; departure to Botosani to visit the Great Synagogue (Oiche Shul) and to Suceava to visit Gah Synagogue, founded in 1870 (time for lunch); continue to Bukovina, the region of paintes monasteries – visit of Humor and Voronet painted monasteries; arrival in G.Humorului for dinner and accommodation.

Day 4 – G.Humorului – Campulung – Borsa – Sighetul Marmatiei (230 km)
After breakfast, visit of the Sucevita and Moldovita Monasteries; continue to Maramures, one of the most beautiful counties in Romania; arrival in Sighetul Marmatiei (time for lunch); visit of Vizhnitzel Klaus Synagogue and Ellie Wiesel House – philosopher, political activist, Nobel Prize winner and Holocaust surviver; panoramic visit of the Victims of Communism Memorial – a unique project in Eastern Europe; dinner and accommodation.

Day 5 – Sighetul Marmatiei – Bistrita – Tg.Mures – Brasov (480 km)
Breakfast, drive to Sighisoara to see the citadel and the Synagogue (UNESCO Heritage) (time for lunch); continue to Brasov* to visit the Synagogue, built in 1899 and the old center with the famous Black Church, the Council House and First Romanian School in Schei; dinner and accommodation.

Day 6 – Brasov – Bran – Sinaia – Bucharest (240 km)
Departure to Bucharest via Bran and Sinaia; drive to visit the Bran Castle, also known as Drakula’s Castle; continue to Sinaia to visit the famous Peles Castle, residence of the former royal family or (if it’s closed) Sinaia Monastery (1695) (time for lunch); arrival in Bucharest, for farewell dinner and accommodation.

Day 7
If the flight schedule permits, individual visit of Bucharest; transfer to the airport.
